Ramadan Crescent Lighting

ISBR and BRBA are inviting you to join your Muslim friends and neighbors in Bernards Township for the first lighting of the crescent in our town, to celebrate the upcoming month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is the holiest month of the Islamic calendar. It is a time of increased acts of worship, service to others and introspection. Based on a lunar calendar, the month of Ramadan begins with sighting of the new moon that appears as a crescent in the sky. Join us as we gather to light the crescent installation at the Allen St Gazebo on the evening of March 10, the beginning of Ramadan
